John Joseph Mark Zarrella

This certain someone we all knew,
made people feel like gold.
It didn't matter who you were,
a person young or old.
He'd be right by your side,
If you needed a helping hand.
There wasn't ever a single thing,
This person would demand.
If you were stuck at some one's house,
And called him for a ride.
You couldn't even count to three,
Before he'd be there by your side.
Remember his face and feel his love,
For it is truly there.
And if you need to talk to him,
Kneel down and say a prayer.
Cause he's with God, now and for good,
In peace and eternal rest,
For this guy deserves it all,
Because he is the best.
So if you ever need a happy thought,
Remember he was here.
Smiling and having fun,
So no one would shed a tear.
Now that he is gone we still can laugh,
Cause life must carry on.
But none of us will ever forget,
That dear friend we called "John"
This poem was written 19 years ago by Kylie Johnson, a close family friend. I can't believe its been that long. I miss him so.
